These are the most commonly asked questions by people visiting our forecourt in Ashcott

Q

Do you have any bad reviews online?

A

Unlike many car dealers who report a bad review so they can have it removed leaving only good reviews for people to see regarding there dealership/garage we choose to leave all our reviews good or bad if there from a customer, Someone who never even purchased a vehicle from us or just a tyre kicker who had nothing better to do that day, This is down to us being Trading Standards Approved as part of their buy with confidence scheme and hiding any reviews would be wrong.

Q

Am i getting a good deal when you are a Land Rover Specialist which is more expensive than i can buy one on Ebay for?

A

We have heard countless stories from people who have purchased vehicles elsewhere and have soon come to regret it, Many car dealers will do as little as possible to a vehicle when selling it so they can maximise their profit, Where as we fix problems on our vehicles which is why our prices may be a little more expensive but our customers get far better vehicles and we get less comebacks under our warranty and we genuinely do service our vehicles and change the Cambelts ourselves unlike some vehicles we have seen with fake service history from some dealers.

Q

Can i extend my warranty

A

As it’s a self funded warranty the simple answer is no but there is not much point anyway as we give our customers lifetime assistance, Which means as long as you own the vehicle you can bring it back to us and we will diagnose any fault which includes plugging the vehicle into one of our computers free of charge and if the vehicle requires further work you can decide whether to leave the vehicle with us for repair or take it elsewhere for work as the problem would have been diagnosed by a specialist so they cannot over charge you for work that isn't needed.

Q

What is the cost of servicing a Land Rover i have heard it can cost as much as £600 to £700

A

Not with us!

Q

Does the body need to be removed if the turbo charger fails?

A

No! But many garage will tell you it does this is to inflate the price as when the body is removed there always seems that there is more work "recommended"

Q

How many miles can i expect my engine to last for?

A

As with any vehicle no one can be sure but if the Cambelt and oil pump is changed when it’s due and the vehicle is REGULARLY serviced we have seen examples of vehicles at 300,000

Q

If my Headgasket fails does the body need to be removed?

A

No we have replaced Headgaskets without removing the body it just a little painstaking
